I have so much to do! So much to think about! It's hard right now and I just can't do it!

I found out that I will most likely be part of the RenFaire here. Well, the people in charge want stuff made in linen or wool or silk. I thought that I had my garb but it's made of cotton... bummer! The easy thing would be to do an earlier period type thing (like 14th c.) because they are going for a timeline like from medieval through renaissance. But, since the RenFaire folks want to have as much as possible historically correct things, it would make no sense whatsoever for a lady from the 14th c. to know the dances that we will be teaching, which are from the renaissance, some even being first document after the infamous cutoff of 1600. So, armed with that, I decided that I will do a renaissance costume... and I have to decide exactly what to do, etc. I so wish that I could go for the Wench Wear! ;op Oh well.

On top of that, I might pull double duty and also dance with our troupe, Black Rose Caravan, which is actually where my heart lies. And I would need a costume for that too. Thankfully, Middle Eastern garb is easier to do than the Renaissance one!

Still, I need to think about every single thing that needs to be done and I need to use my great project management skills that are so well renown at work and put them to use in my hobbies! I have to stop fretting and just start making lists, plans, etc.

Don't get me wrong: it's a whole lot of fun! It's just a little stressing at the moment... until I get a plan of action!

Geez! Just to show how hard a time I have to think right now, I had to edit this entry... I had forgotten that I also have to create a costume for my solo for Nightmare on Marakesh Street! Which is 1 week after the RenFaire!
